“Coraline” - Still Capturing Souls 15 Years Later
The 15th anniversary re-release of Coraline is crushing it at the box office and Olivia and Emily break down why it’s still a hit. They cover everything from claymation (and Olivia’s obsession), the beautiful world building, the exaggerated and fun characters, whether or not it’s horror, and the crazy film theories surrounding Coraline. Of course you’ll also hear Liv and Em recall the first time they watched Coraline at ages 6 and 8, and why Emily, to this day, can’t watch horror movies.
Coraline was directed by Henry Selick, starring Dakota Fanning and Teri Hatcher and was re-released on August 15, 2024, based on the novella by Neil Gaiman.
